MONOGRAM AAC Decoder 0.9.4.0

April 18th, 2008 Posted in Free Software

Hello people,

after a while there is a small upgrade for the AAC decoder. There are 3 major issues that have been worked out.

  •  2.1 and 5.1 mixing matrices fixed - rear speakers now work
  • merit was increased to MERIT_NORMAL + 2
  • added compatibility hacks to work with Media Player Classic

The last mentioned is a bit tricky because you might have other decoders installed on your system such as ffdshow or DScaler. If MONOGRAM AAC Decoder is not used automatically you might need to do some manual tweaking to make it work. I might do some more inspectations on this issue.

Enjoy,

Igor

Have you had this (MONOGRAM AAC Decoder 0.9.4.0) working on Media Player Classic. If so how???

I am looking for some way to edit these .ts files. Have had no luck to date. Was hoping to use mpeg stream clip. Or do you know of something that will work on New Zealands .ts files.
    Would love any help.

Yes it did work. But it is quite complicated to setup because of many internal MPC filters and settings. But there is also another way how to deal with TS files containing LATM aac. You can try elecard mpeg-2 demuxer (I have developed the decoder with this demuxer) and I think also the latest Haali splitter should be able to open those files.

Sorry call me stupid, but I cant “find “elecard mpeg-2 demuxer” anywhere. I,ve found “Elecard XMuxer Pro,and lite.” I downloaded the demo it will see the video ok. But again no audio. Also downloaded the latest Halli spltter. Still no change. I will keep trying but if anyone has any ideas they are appreciated.

I think it is not available for download as a standalone filter but rather comes with a pack. I think with this one :

Managed to get and .AVC file and a .ac3 file. But unable to just an mpeg file (with audio and picturs) which I can edit in mpeg video wizard. I guess I will just keep trying. Can anyone see where I am going wrong.
