About me

IgorMy name is Igor Jánoš and I was born in 1984. I have been programming since I was 6 when I got my first programming book for kids. Lot of time has passed and after graduating at grammar school I have recently finished with my master’s degree at Slovak University of Technology, Bratislava.

My primary concern is multimedia technology, namely video and audio compression. Some people may know me because of the RadLight player project I have been working on and because of a few free filters that some people may be using even now.

Now I work with the MONOGRAM Multimedia, s.r.o. company which is located in Bratislava, Slovakia.

In my free-time (which I ain’t got much anymore) I tend to go live downtown. I’ve also done ballroom dancing, which I don’t do anymore :-\ but at least hang out with the guys I got to know there. I like many types of music - classic, jazz, rock… I’ve played the piano for 10 years - so I’m quite good with any types of keyboard ;)
